Praise Dance
is something we
do by faith because God has commanded us to do it. As in all God
commands us to do, praise is for our own good. It is our way into the
Holy of Holies. Praise invites the manifested presence of God since,
as we are told in Scripture, God inhabits the praises of His people.
The sacrifice of praise is the zealous freewill offering of our actions, our
expressions, through the movement of dance as we present our bodies as
living sacrifices unto the Lord, as we extol the character of God and His
works through dance. These movements are offered by faith and have
nothing to do with feelings. Praise dance is a covenantal response to
God's command in Psalm 149 & 150 to praise Him in the dance in the midst of
the congregation.

There is something
that happens in the spirit realm when we dance before the Lord. He
uses the foolish things of this world to confound the wise (see 1 Cor.
1:27).

Worship
Dance
is a privilege. We cannot worship God on our own. The
Holy Spirit, as we praise God, brings us into worship. We
cannot just turn worship on. Worship is God manifesting
Himself to us and through us in response to our praise.
Worship is initiated by God as we humble ourselves before Him.
Worship is the key to experiencing the knowledge of God. It is
during worship that God may choose to speak to us prophetically
through the spoken word, through prophetic dance, through a
prophetic song, or through a prophetic drama. God will choose
how He wants to express Himself during worship. Worship dance
comes after we as living sacrifices have been consumed spirit, soul,
and body at the altar of praise. The fire of God burns all the chaff
that we came to church burdened down with. Faith rises up and
we remember how great God is. As we decrease and He increases,
the Holy Spirit inhabits our praises and invites us to worship.
